Delete your account
You have full control over your data on RallyClips. This page explains exactly how to delete your account and what happens to your videos, clips, and other data after you do.
Option 1 — Delete from your account settings (recommended)
- Log in to your RallyClips account.
- Open Settings from the dashboard navigation.
- Scroll to the “Danger zone” section and click Delete account.
- Confirm in the dialog. This action cannot be undone.
If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it from Subscription first so you aren’t billed for the next period.
Option 2 — Email us
If you can’t access your account, email us at [email protected] from the address you signed up with and we’ll process your deletion request. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity before deleting the account.
What happens after you delete your account
- Immediately: your profile, handle, and ability to log in are removed. Your public clips and playlists are no longer accessible.
- Within 30 days: we permanently delete your uploaded videos, generated clips, thumbnails, tags, playlists, and analytics from our database and from Cloudflare R2 storage.
- Backups: data may persist in encrypted database backups for up to 30 additional days before backup rotation overwrites them.
- Stripe billing records: if you had a paid subscription, Stripe retains payment records (subscription history, invoices) as required by tax and accounting law. These records do not contain card numbers.
- Public traces: if other users embedded or saved links to your previously-public clips, those URLs will return 404 after deletion. We do not control third-party caches.
Deleting specific content (without deleting your account)
You can delete individual matches, clips, or playlists at any time from the relevant page in the dashboard. Deleted items are removed from the database and queued for removal from object storage; the operation is irreversible.
